Flying

For those of you that have flown, and ever sat in the exit row – you know that at some point the flight attendant comes around and asks everyone seated in that row if they are willing and able to be responsible for working the exit doors in the event of an emergency…….

Every time they ask (I fly a lot) I nod, but secretly tell myself “what suckers!  With me sitting by the window in an exit row, that means I’m off the plane first and in that life raft before anyone else! Don’t let the door hit you as I am flinging it out of my way – and let’s just hope there is enough room on the life boat for your sorry butts!”

Is that very Christian like behavior? Not so much. I admit it. But that is what goes thru my head every time they ask.
